I had to go look it up … unsupervised of course 🙂
A haboob (Arabic: هَبوب “strong wind”) is a type of intense duststorm carried on an atmospheric gravity current. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions throughout the world.
Such a great word. And so much cooler than “Dust Storm Strikes City.”
I want TWO giant Haboobs. Wait, never mind, sounds too complicated and I’d have to buy a bunch of new stuff and couldn’t sleep on my belly.
Yon’s comment time says today at 11:06 PM. Which is almost 4 hours from now. What time zone is this thing on?
